Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & First Safari
- Arrive at the lodge by noon to a refreshing welcome drink, a warm introduction to your host and the team and a hearty lunch.
- Settle into your comfortable accommodation before heading out at 3 PM for your first jeep safari, exploring Pench’s diverse habitats under the expert guidance of Mithun and his team. With a bit of luck, you may spot a tiger or a leopard lounging on the rocks.
- Return by dusk for a relaxed evening, followed by a delicious dinner beneath the stars, sharing stories from your first foray into the wild.
Day 2 & 3: Safaris and Bonfire Tales
- Begin both mornings with a 6 AM safari, when the forest is most alive and wildlife activity is at its peak.
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the jungle before returning to the lodge around midday. The rest of the morning is yours to enjoy at leisure, take a gentle walk along the lodge’s nature trails, relax in your room or chat with your guide about the park’s ecology or photography tips.
- In the afternoon, head out again at 3 PM for another exciting safari, with fresh chances to spot Pench’s tigers, leopards and if fortune favours, even a wolf.
- As the sun sets, gather around a crackling bonfire. Enjoy a delicious dinner, the quiet calm of the forest night and the company of your newfound safari companions.
Day 4: Farewell Safari & Departure
- On your final morning, embark on one last safari to soak in the magic of Pench before your departure.
- After breakfast, take a quiet moment to absorb the stillness of the forest before bidding farewell to Pench, your guide and your fellow travellers.
