Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & First Safari
- Arrive at the lodge by noon, where a refreshing welcome drink and a warm introduction to your host and the team await you.
- Settle into your comfortable forest lodge and indulge in a delicious lunch featuring local flavours.
- At 3 PM, set off on your first jeep safari, exploring Bandipur’s vast landscapes under the expert guidance of Mithun and his team, tracking tigers and other elusive inhabitants of the park.
- Return by dusk to a relaxed dinner under the stars, exchanging tales from the trail around a peaceful fireside.
Day 2: Morning Safari & Forest Immersion
- Begin your day with a 6 AM safari, when the forest is at its most active and wildlife sightings are most rewarding.
- After returning to the lodge by 9:30 AM, enjoy a hearty breakfast and a leisurely morning. Take a gentle walk along the lodge’s nature trails, rest in your room or chat with your guide about the ecology of the Nilgiris.
- In the afternoon, head out for your second safari at 3 PM, with fresh chances to spot Bandipur’s tigers, leopards and herds of elephant crossing through the open grasslands.
- As the sun sets, wind down with a relaxed bonfire, delicious dinner and the quiet calm of the forest night.
Day 3: Farewell Safari & Departure
- On your final morning, embark on a last safari to soak in the magic of Bandipur one more time.
- After breakfast, take a moment to absorb the stillness of the forest before bidding farewell to Bandipur, your guide and your fellow travellers.
